is the designation of a desktop support engineer considered a technical job ?

Author: i am a fresher in engineering and i have got a call from a firm regarding an opening as a desktop support engineer in accenture. wanted to know if this job can be considered as an technical job and can my experience in that job would be worth mentioning on the CV?

What are the credentials you need to become a desktop support guy ?
I am looking for a job ,
I have a degree in electrical and computer engineering ,
Currently due to some circumstances I can’t find any electrical / computer engineering jobs . With my credentials do you think I can get a job as a desktop support person ?
